LA SERVA SCALTRA (A wife by force)

Plot

Dorilla (soprano) Cristina Biaggio - Balanzone (basso) Federico Sacchi - Orchestra sinfonica of Teatro Coccia - Conductor and musical reviser Massimiliano Toni - Dierctor and coreographer- Deda Cristina Colonna

 Balanzone woos, no results, Dorilla's mistress. The maid tricks letd him believe in a happy solution of hid love story.  SHe suggests the best tactics to win the woman he loves and meanwhile she  finds the way to get from the naive lover a snuffbox and a ring but never setting up a meeting with her mistress. Balanzone, to prove his love, pathetically declares to he  ready to commit suicide.

In the last intermezzo Dorilla, disguised as a peasant, pretends to be her own brother.With the help of other farmers she threatens  to beat up Balanzone if he will not agree to marry his sister. Having obtained the oath from the ingenuous Balanzone, she reveals her lies to him and they lived happy  together  for a long time.
