Plot

The documentary will bring you to discovery natural surroundings, historic places and the curious folklore of northern Albania. You’ll get to know also the contradictions of this country, looking at the ancient tradition of Kanun, which is a code regulating the social and ethic life-style based on principles such as honor, respect, hospitality and social responsibility of the individual. The most known norm is sadly the tradition of revenge with blood, considered necessary to re-establish the honors of a family subjected to a murder. Only good pacifiers can bring peace between the two parts. During our journey, we have met and interviewed the actors of this dramatic event: men, women and children. An exciting trip into the beauty, the culture and traditions of northern Albania.
